IUPUI research goes far beyond the classroom. In a study conducted in the Namib Desert, IUPUI scientists explored the origins of water other than rainfall and are identifying multiple sources. Understanding these sources is essential for developing ecological models of arid environments as well as understanding how plants and animals sustain themselves.Read more about the research
