Water Firm’s $200,000 Gift Aids IUPUI Science Program
Indianapolis Star, May 9 – Veolia Water Indianapolis is giving IUPUI $200,000 to encourage students to pursue degrees in science and engineering. The money will support an existing program, “Discovering the Science of the Environment.” The Lilly Foundation, Inc. also supports the program.

IUPUI Grads Get Online Oscar
Indianapolis Star, May 6 – IUPUI grads Zachary Shields of Greenfield and Christopher Podell of South Bend are People’s Voice Award winners of the Webby Awards which the New York Times called the equivalent of an online Oscar. The School of Informatics students were nominated for their video on the aftermath of the Tsunami tragedy in Indonesia.

Skits Reveal Bullying Truth
