Top IUPUI Faculty to Present at Cutting Edge Lecture Series
The IUPUI Office of Academic Affairs is pleased to announce its inaugural Cutting Edge Lecture Series. This series will give the opportunity for the community to engage in dialogues with top university professors about rapidly changing fields of inquiry. A series of lectures will be held in both the spring and fall semesters.
All lectures will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the University Library Auditorium, 755 West Michigan St. They are free and open to the public. No reservations are necessary.

Grant Awarded to IU Dental School Extends Care Beyond 'Give Kids a Smile' Day
The IU School of Dentistry will use a grant from the Delta Dental Foundation to provide additional free dental care to children who recently participated in the American Dental Association’s nationwide Give Kids a Smile dental program for children in need.
The dental school, which served as one of Indiana’s key treatment sites on Feb. 2, provided dental exams, protective sealants, and restorative care to a total of 89 youngsters during the event. Diversity Efforts Recognized
Barbara Browning, director of Student Support Services in University College, and Vance Farrow, assistant professor in the Herron School of Art and Design, received the 2007 Joseph T. Taylor Awards for Excellence in Diversity at the February 15 Taylor Symposium awards ceremony. Both work diligently and effectively in academic advising and mentoring of minority students at IUPUI.
