Construction Junction – One Way Traffic Ahead
Beginning at 4 p.m., Friday, Sept. 16, the one-block section of Vermont Street between University Boulevard and Patterson Drive will become a one-way street during construction of the IUPUI Campus Center.
Construction plans call for the closure of the north two lanes of Vermont Street from University Boulevard to Patterson for a two-year period. During that time the remaining open lane will be for westbound traffic only.
Keeping the block open for westbound traffic will give motorists access to the east end of the Vermont Street Garage, officials said.
In other construction news, a covered walkway on the south side of Michigan Street between Patterson and University Boulevard has opened. |
