IUPUI HELPS HABITAT CONSTRUCT FIRST "GREEN" HOUSE IN INDIANA
Thanks to the initiative and work of IUPUI interior design students, Betty and Nathan King will live in what is believed to be Indiana's first "green" Habitat for Humanity house. Low flow toilets and sinks, ceramic tile made from recycled windshields, and energy efficient lighting are just some of the features the Kings can look forward to in their new Habitat home.

UNIVERSITY LIBRARY DEVELOPS ELECTRONIC ATLAS FEATURES
The Digital Libraries Team of the IUPUI University Library has announced the redesign of the Electronic Atlas of Central Indiana. New features that have been added to the electronic atlas site include the first of multiple phases of historic aerial photographs of several Indiana counties and updated maps reflecting 2000 census data.

NEARLY 200 LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS COMPETE IN UNIQUE MATH CONTEST WITH "MATHEMATICS AND MEDICINE" THEME
Sixteen local high school students did more than just answer correctly five math questions to earn prizes totaling $3,500 in the IUPUI/Roche Diagnostics 2001 Mathematics Contest.
