Public Health and Health Administration are two of the fastest growing segments of the US Economy and are projected to continue this growth far into the future, both in the US and abroad. The Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health at IUPUI offers two undergraduate degrees: Bachelor of Science in Public Health with concentrations in: Environmental Health Science and Community Health. The second undergraduate degree offered is a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management. Undergraduate and graduate certificates in public health and several concentrations in the Master of Public Health Program are also available.
The Undergraduate Certificate in Public Health includes two areas of concentration: Health Administration and Population Health Science. The certificate is designed to provide students in these emphasis areas with an overview of each area followed by more focused study in areas basic to each field.
The Graduate Certificate in Public Health is a 15-credit-hour program of study. The certificate program is designed to meet the needs of public health professionals who are seeking the opportunity to continue their education while working.
A Master of Public Health degree is also available. This is the right program for you if you seek an education that prepares you for a bright future in public health. Five concentrations are available within the MPH degree:
- Environmental Health
- Health Policy and Management
- Social and Behavioral Sciences
In addition to the Master of Public Health degree, the following degree programs are available:
- Master of Health Administration
- Master of Science in Biostatistics
- Master of Science in Product Stewardship
The School of Public Health also offers the following Doctoral Programs:
- DrPH in Global Health Leadership
- Doctorate in Biostatistics (PhD)
- Doctorate in Epidemiology (PhD)
- Doctorate in Health Policy Management (PhD)
