Overview: The Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health offers an undergraduate and graduate certificates in public health. The Undergraduate Certificate in Public Health includes two areas of concentration: Health Administration and Population Health Science. The certificate is designed to provide students in these emphasis areas with an overview of each area followed by more focused study in areas basic to each field. The Graduate Certificate in Public Health is a 15-credit-hour program of study. The certificate program is designed to meet the needs of public health professionals who are seeking the opportunity to continue their education while working.
