A scientific community

Campus Success

Since the spring semester, five students and researchers from three continents have come to IUPUI to work with the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology. The visitors hail from India, England, Germany, Argentina, and Brazil and have been working closely with faculty in labs. Since scientific techniques vary slightly from country to country, this type of shared knowledge is especially beneficial to continue to build the science community.

Soon to be smoke-free

Campus Success

IUPUI consistently takes steps to ensure the health and safety of our students and faculty. This time, our targets are smoking and tobacco use. IUPUI will begin to transition the campus to 100 percent smoke and tobacco-free through a grant received from the American Cancer Society and CVS Health Foundation. This program is part of the effort to create the first tobacco-free generation and improve the health and life expectancy of Hoosiers.
