Engineering Summer Camp

Campus Success

Fifteen high school students from across the Midwest ended their week of engineering immersion with a bone-breaking snap when a universal testing machine, which can apply up to 60,000 pounds of force, was used to crack a lamb leg bone. Celebrating 40 years, the Minority Engineering Advancement Program summer camp has inspired hundreds of students to pursue engineering and other fields in technology, science, and mathematics.

Jaguar Generosity

Campus Success

Established in 2013, Paw’s Pantry is open to students, staff, and faculty members with valid IUPUI identification. With 138.6 square feet of space on the second floor of the Campus Center, it is a small but mighty solution for food insecurity. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays (students only) and Thursdays (students, staff, and faculty). Donated food, toiletries, and beverages are portioned out with a weekly point system.
