A NIH-FUNDED POSTDOCTORAL POSITION is available for a highly
motivated candidate to study tick-borne infectious diseases including, but not
limited to, Lyme disease (PNAS 100:11001, 2003; J. Exp. Med. 199:641, 2004).
This position provides an excellent training opportunity in bacterial
pathogenesis. The research focuses on regulation of virulence gene expression
and polymicrobial interaction. A degree of Ph.D. or M.D. with strong molecular
biology experience is required. Background in microbiology or immunology is a
