UWC Community The University Writing Center staff is a dedicated group of both faculty and student tutors who not only work with writers on all kinds of projects, but also produce diverse writing projects themselves, including articles and presentations on writing and tutoring, academic essays in other disciplines, and creative pieces. This page provides some examples of our staff's work. She was a physician and martyr who lived in Caesarea in the first century A.D.. The Catholic Church's St. Hermione is not, however, the University Writing Center's St. Hermione. Please note that all the writings listed below refer to a completely fictitious patron saint of writing tutors and writing utensils. Conjured from the creative minds of our student tutors, our St. Hermione provides us with an example of what a great tutor should be as well as our very own phony holiday to honor her.
