IUPUI and United Way Make a Difference! We had a tremendous response to last year's United Way campaign at IUPUI. This year we have pledged $417,000 to continue our efforts to help improve lives and shape our community!

By reaching our goal again this year, United Way can address the root-causes of the most serious needs of Central Indiana including student performance, childcare, family violence, economic self-sufficiency, independence of seniors and homelessness. Please consider giving to United Way today.

The many United Way of Central Indiana agencies that receive funding through our pledges provide direct services in our local community. UWCI works continually to identify the community's most important priorities and measure the impact of the programs it helps to fund. Based on research which shows that "children raised in safe, supportive, and encouraging environments are more likely to begin school ready to succeed" and knowing that many in central Indiana cannot offer young children this ideal environment, UWCI has recently stated its current priorities...
