SPEA Undergraduate Student Association
(SPEA USA)
The School of Public and Environmental Affairs Undergraduate Student Association (SPEA USA) is a student organization that promotes interaction between students, faculty, and alumni. SPEA USA strives to improve the undergraduate experience and provide opportunities for leadership, friendship, and involvement within the undergraduate student body.

Indiana Health Student Association (IHSA)
IHSA is an organization for public health majors or anyone interested in the current trends of the health care industry. The objectives of IHSA are:
- to stimulate professional career development and leadership of its members;
- to provide the opportunity to assemble with students and faculty whose professional interests are in public and environmental health;
- to keep members informed of recent trends in health related areas;
- to encourage students to enter the many facets within the health field.

Education Student Policy Association (EDPOSA)
EDPOSA is a cross-campus organization for all students that facilitates discussion about topics and research surrounding education policy; provides opportunities for interaction between IU students and experts in the field; and serves as an education policy information and resource hub for the IU Bloomington community. A few of EDPOSA’s main functions include:
- Bringing in diverse speakers with varied perspectives about current issues in education
- Providing opportunities for student engagement in panel discussions
- Conducting film screenings of education documentaries and facilitating discourse about the film content and context
- Organizing internship and career panels to increase student knowledge about the education landscape, and network with professionals in various roles in the education field.
Additionally, current news articles and information about employment opportunities are distributed through the EDPOSA listserv. EDPOSA also partners with other organizations like the Nonprofit Management Organization (NMA) at SPEA and the Center of Evaluation and Education Policy (CEEP). The organization is also initiating partnership with local schools to engage IU students in an array of community engagement initiatives.

Human Resource Association (HRA-IU)
The Human Resource Association at Indiana University (HRA-IU) is a group that has been formed to help students who are interested in Human Resources to develop specific skills as well as network with local Human Resource Professionals. Public Finance Association (PFA)
The Public Finance Association (PFA) at Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) seeks to organize events and provide a structure to facilitate interaction between students and the municipal finance community, business executives and government finance officials in the following ways:
- Assist in the professional, educational, and social development of college students interested in all aspects of public finance.
- Promote the SPEA public finance program at Indiana University both nationally and internationally.
- Provide a structure for interaction between public finance students and the professional public finance community.
- Enhance employment opportunities for SPEA public finance students.
- Assist students in finding school funding and scholarship opportunities.
