SPEA Undergraduate Admissions

Whether you're a high school student considering SPEA and IU, a transfer student coming to us from another institution, or a current IU student looking into a SPEA degree, we have a path to admission just for you.  High school students may qualify for direct admission, while current IU students enter SPEA through a competitive admissions process.

High School Students

If you're a high school student, it's not too early to think about SPEA!  We're happy to meet with any prospective or incoming freshmen, and Direct Admission is available to high-acheiving students.

Transfer Students

Are you planning to transfer to IU, or have you recently become a Hoosier?  Welcome, and find out more about seeking admission to SPEA.

Current IU Students

Already at IU, and interested in SPEA?  SPEA has a competitive application process, and students must complete specific admissions requirements.  Learn more, find out when to apply, and begin planning your SPEA coursework.

For current IU students, admissions are considered twice a year.  Applications for Fall 2012 Admissions are now closed as of May 1; applications for Spring 2013 Admissions are accepted through Dec 1.
