The IUPUI Career Services Council’s Intern Connections Fairs create great opportunities for students to gain experience through real-life work environments.

For employers, this means helping students apply their cutting-edge knowledge and skills to assist in achieving organizational goals and objectives, bringing in new ideas, and at the same time, generating an excellent pool of future employees. The results of these experiences create a cornerstone for students who are preparing for professional full-time positions.

For students, internships allow you to see the theory you learn in the classroom translated into practice. You’ll gain important experience in your field, as well as networking opportunities and professional skills. An internship might also give you the opportunity to try out a career or field before you graduate.
