Student Employment Part-Time Job Fair – August 22, 2013
The 2013 Part-Time Job Fair, hosted by the IUPUI Office of Student Employment, offers organizations the opportunity to meet face-to-face with Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) students interested in part-time employment. This event is open to current IUPUI students of all majors and class standings. In previous years, nearly 1,500 students have attended the event to learn about on and off-campus part-time employment opportunities. The Part-Time Job Fair, as part of IUPUI’s Weeks of Welcome during the first week of the fall semester, is a more casual fair and is held in University College Courtyard.

Accounting/Finance Meet the Recruiter – September 10, 2013
The 2013 Accounting/Finance Meet the Recruiter Career Fair will give employers the opportunity to meet and network with the Kelley School of Business-Indianapolis undergraduate and graduate accounting and finance students. This year we have expanded this event to include Finance students. The majority of these students will be seeking to interview for your public accounting and corporate finance positions. The students are well prepared for this event and are excited to learn about your accounting/finance opportunities. This event is marketed heavily and is well attended by accounting/finance students seeking both full time positions and internships.

Fall Career Week – September 30-October 4, 2013
Open to all IUPUI students, this week of events is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about careers by attending fun and informative workshops, panels, and other career-related events. Employers have the opportunity to connect with these students as a panelist, workshop presenter, or event participant.

Major Career Information Day (MCID) – October 1, 2013
All students have the opportunity to join representatives from IUPUI’s degree programs and co-curricular offices (including Research, Study Abroad, Service Learning, and Externship) for this annual event. This is their chance to make connections with people who have great information on how to enhance their program of study and their marketability after graduation.

IUPUI Business Etiquette Luncheon – October 1, 2013
Learn the basics of dining etiquette.

Career Connection – October 9, 2013
The Career Connection is a recruiting event designed for employers targeting students and alumni from the schools of Engineering & Technology and Informatics. Brought to you by the Purdue Engineering and Technology Student Council and the Informatics Student Government, the Career Connection is perfect for employers who wish to meet and recruit candidates from a diverse array of technical backgrounds for internship, co-op, and career opportunities.

Fall Externship Day – October 15, 2013
Each semester, IUPUI coordinates a one-day externship program which enables students to see first-hand what a job in their field entails. By hosting externs, you not only build awareness of your organization, but you will be able to observe the abilities and qualifications of IUPUI’s students for potential future internships, part-time jobs, or other opportunities.

Kelley Career Fair – February 6, 2014
This is the 6th annual Kelley Career Fair. Meet, greet and network with Kelley-Indianapolis student leaders and Kelley students/alumni. This event is sponsored by the Kelley-Indianapolis student government and is marketed heavily to all Kelley students/alumni and will be advertised to all IUPUI students. The students are well prepared for this event and are excited to learn about your full time and internship opportunities. The 2012 Kelley Career Fair had a record number of students attend (over 400) and we hope to increase that annually.

Summer Job and Internship Fair – Feb. 20, 2014
The Summer Job and Internship Fair offers students the opportunity to meet face to face with employers from a variety of career fields who are offering short-term job and internship opportunities during the summer months. The free event is open to IUPUI students of all majors and class standings. Students are encouraged to attend in business attire with a well-polished resume in hand. There will be up to 40 employers in attendance. If qualified for an open position, students could receive an on-site interview for the summer job or internship of their dreams. The 2014 Summer Job & Internship Fair will be held in Campus Center 450.

Life Health Sciences Career Fair – March 4, 2014
This is the 1st annual Life Health Sciences Career Fair for employers to meet, greet and network with IUPUI students and alumni interested in careers in the life and health science sectors. This event is sponsored by the School of Science and is marketed heavily to Science students/alumni and will be advertised to all IUPUI students. The students attending this event are excited to learn about your full time and internships opportunities. Registration will open Fall semester.

Nonprofit Career Expo – March 5, 2014
Are you looking for internships, jobs or volunteer opportunities in nonprofits or public service? Then participate in the annual Nonprofit Expo at IUPUI! The IUPUI Nonprofit Expo brings together nonprofit, government and community partners that offer internship, volunteer and job opportunities to IUPUI students and alumni.

IUPUI Career Fair – April 2, 2014
Every spring the IUPUI Career Services Council hosts the annual IUPUI Career Fair (previously called the “Just in Time” Career Fair). The IUPUI Career Fair is a campus-wide event that provides students and alumni from all majors the opportunity to network with employers seeking applicants for internship and full-time career opportunities. This event also provides our employers the opportunity to meet qualified, talented, and diverse IUPUI students and alumni.

National Student Employment Appreciation (NSEA) Week – April 14-18, 2014
This nationwide week of appreciation was established to recognize the importance of students as employees during their college career. The purpose of the week is to further the awareness of student contributions to the Indianapolis and IUPUI community and to show appreciation for their hard work and dedication as both students and employees in part-time positions during the academic year.
