Dear Applicant
Thank you for your interest in the 2010 IUPUI Regatta Student Chair position. The Review Committee is looking for someone who has a proven ability to lead and can work with a variety of people including other students, IUPUI staff and faculty, and community leaders. While it is impossible to list all the responsibilities of this position, here are the main responsibilities.
- Commit to fulfilling the duties of the 2010 Regatta Student Chair from January 11th, 2010 – December 10, 2010.
- Commit to work the Regatta on Saturday, September 25th, 2010.
- Represent the Regatta Committee, the IUPUI Office of Alumni Relations, and SOAR at university and community events including campus and community media coverage.
- Communicate with city officials for planning and marketing of the Regatta.
- Lead the Regatta Committee to prepare for and ensure a successful Regatta.
- Recruit and appoint subcommittee chairs and members.
- Serve on the review committee for the 2011 Regatta Student Chair.
Application Process
Fill out and submit the application by the deadline. Applications must be filled out completely. Applications received with missing information will not be reviewed.
All applications must be received by 5pm, December 4th, 2009 in order to be considered.
