Guided by a theoretical framework of student development, the mission of the Office of the Dean of Students is to support IUPUI's educational mission and goals by maintaining a campus community conducive to a positive learning environment. The services offered are developed to protect the rights of all students to learn without interference, to provide interventions for resolving conflict, and to enable students to achieve success in their intellectual and personal development.
The State of Student Life @ IUPUI
On January 29, 2008, Vice Chancellor for Student Life and Dean of Students, Karen Whitney, along with Chancellor Bantz and the USG and GSO presidents, hosted a talk regarding the current state of student life on campus.
Today is about coming together as a community of students, faculty and staff. Today is about continuing the discussion about how together we can build a vibrant and meaningful student life at IUPUI.
