Sigma Phi was founded on April 12, 1992 by ten men, who without a doubt wanted to continue the legacy of the seven founding fathers from Ithaca, New York. Sigma Phi, a chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity Incorporated, has grown and has a graduation rate of one hundred percent, one of its many accomplishments to be proud of!
From the early beginning the jewels of Alpha Phi Alpha, though knowingly, set the scope which the fraternity enjoys today - limitness. It should be noted that the personality, versatility and outlook of the jewels themselves, helped to set the pace for the present versatile scope of the fraternity - manly deeds, scholarship and love for all mankind.
