Our lab works closely with the Imaging Genomics Lab co-directed by Dr. Andrew J. Saykin and Dr. Li Shen. One current emphasis is to link image data with genomic information to gain better understanding of the early stages in diseases such as Alzheimer's. The computational methods we study include (1) image & vision computing, (2) data mining & pattern recognition, and (3) geometric modeling & graphics.
