Community & University Scholarship Opportunities


  • Indianapolis Rotary Club "Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship"

    Each year at this time the Indianapolis Club solicits applicants from area Colleges and Universities for this 1 year "full ride" scholarship for study abroad. The club will be accepting applications for the Ambassadorial Scholarship through March 30th and will interview potential candidates in April.

    Journyx, Inc. is currently promoting a scholarship program aimed towards graduate students that began on January 1, 2007 and ends June 1, 2007. Visit http://scholarship.journyx.com.





    2007 CIRCLE CITY LEGAL SECRETARIES SCHOLARSHIP

    This scholarship is aimed at those in Marion County and the seven surrounding counties (Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Morgan and Shelby) interested in a career as a legal secretary or a legal assistant.

    1. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of merit, ability and need.
    2. The amount of the scholarship is $250.00 provided by Circle City Legal Secretaries, matched by an award of $250.00 provided by The Registry, Inc., for a total amount of $500.00
    3. The completed Application with all attachments must be post-marked no later than April 15, 2007M. Any application post-marked after that date will be disqualified.
    4. The applications will be presented to a Scholarship Review Board for review and selection of a winner and a runner-up.
    5. The scholarship monetary award will be paid directly to the school of the winner's choice for enrollment and attendance during the scholastic year for which the award is given.
    6. Recognition of the winner will be made at the September meeting of Circle City Legal Secretaries (the evening of the second Tuesday in September).
    7. In the event a winner cannot accept the scholarship (due to changed circumstances), the scholarship will be awarded to the runner-up chosen by the Board. THE SCHOLARSHIP, OR ANY BALANCE THEREOF, SHALL BE RETURNED TO CCLS IF THE WINNER ACCEPTS THE SCHOLARSHIP AND THEREAFTER DOES NOT ATTEND SCHOOL.
