The Task Force on Staff Talent was recently recognized as the most actively engaged of all of the stakeholder groups in the strategic planning process. Staff go above and beyond, and many times are the unsung heroes. President Stone discusses the importance of staff and faculty working together in the strategic planning process.

All employees are required to successfully complete Preventing Sexual Harassment (PSH) training, a refresher course, or a comparable classroom training program every three years.  The information linked pertains to those who have not completed the Preventing Sexual Harassment training or the refresher course within the past three years. 

The Staff Development Committee of the Staff Council invites you to noiminate yourself or a colleague for the first annual Staff Council awards! There are three awards:

• Staff Council Member of the Year
• Staff Council Outstanding New Member
• Staff Council Outstanding Committee Chair

Nominations are available either through an electronic survey or on a paper form, whichever is easier. Self-nominations and nominations of others are completely welcome. You do not have to be a Staff Council member to nominate someone.

The nominated members will be notified of their nomination and the winners will be announced at the annual Staff Council Retreat on July 12th at Victory Field.

The Gerald L. Bepko Staff Council Spirit Award, Nan Bohan Community Engagement Award, Multicultural Impact Staff Award, and the Carol D. Nathan Staff Council Scholarships will open on June 1. More information will be available at that time.
