Each semester that you are enrolled at IUPUI and are receiving scholarship funding your academic transcript, including your cumulative GPA will be reviewed.
If you are considering withdrawing from any course, you must notify the Office of Student Scholarships immediately. Withdrawing from any courses without notifying the Office of Student Scholarships may result in the retraction of your scholarship for subsequent semesters. In addition, it may result in either partial or full repayment of scholarship funds for the semester which you dropped.
If you are considering withdrawing from all courses you must notify the Office of Student Scholarships immediately. Totally withdrawing from all courses during the semester will result in the retraction of your scholarship for subsequent semesters. In addition, it will result in full repayment of scholarship funds for the semester that you dropped. If you must drop due to unforeseen events you may submit an IUPUI Student Scholarship Appeal [PDF] along with supporting documentation.
If you register for courses but never attend or stop attending, you will automatically receive either an F or FN. As a result your scholarship will be retracted effective the semester you ceased to attend courses. This will result in repayment of scholarship funds, and the retraction of your scholarship for subsequent semesters.
If your scholarship has been retracted for any reason, you may submit an IUPUI Student Scholarship Appeal [PDF]. You must submit a statement of appeal stating the reason(s) why you failed to meet the minimum requirements to maintain your scholarship. In addition, you must include all necessary supporting documentation. A decision on the appeal will be available within 5 to 7-business days. The deadlines to submit the IUPUI Student Scholarship Appeal are October 15th for the Fall semester and March 15th for the Spring semester. Any appeals received after these dates can only be reviewed for the upcoming semester. For questions regarding the Scholarship Appeal form or the Scholarship Appeal process, please contact Jill Campbell at (317) 274-3720 or via e-mail at jileonar@iupui.edu.
