The Health & Life Science Scholars Program is designed for beginning freshmen in the health and life science majors. Contingent upon availability of funds, a Health and Life Science Scholar who is a beginning major may supported up to eight regular (fall/spring) semesters provided that the student continues in a degree program in a health or life science and maintains an overall minimum GPA of 3.5. An applicant must be in the top 25% of their high school graduating class and have a minimum SAT score of 1200 or ACT score of 26. An award recipient may hold only one scholarship funded by the School of Science. Application, essay, transcript, and two letters of recommendation must be received by the Office of Student Scholarships by the deadlines listed above.

The Math and Science Teaching Scholarship Program offered by the Urban Center for the Advancement of Math/Science Education, is designed to encourage and to support outstanding high school graduates who desire to pursue a career in math or science teaching at the middle and/or high school level. Eligible students must be in the top 25% of their graduating class and have a minimum 1050 SAT (Math & Critical Reading Sections only) or 22 ACT score; have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale); and must be a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S. Eligible students from the under-represented minority groups are encouraged to apply.

New beginning full-time students interested in studies related to labor, senior citizens, and/or community activism are encouraged to apply for this scholarship. Recipients will participate in Masarachia seminars, internships, and related activities. All finalists will be interviewed and scholars will be selected based on academic merit, financial need, and evidence of commitment to and familiarity with one or more of the specified program areas. Qualified applicants must have graduated in the top 40 percent of their high school class with a 1000 SAT or 21 ACT score. This scholarship is available for both new direct admitted students and continuing students studying Motorsports Engineering and recognizes students for previous service to their community and supports their continued involvement in meaningful service and social advocacy. Recipients must agree to participate in 20 hours of planned community service activities during the academic year with CARA Charities. Application requirements include 1)IUPUI Scholarship application; 2) personal essay; 3) official transcript (high school for new students and IUPUI for continuing students; 4)two letters of recommendation with at least one from a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The Shared Heritage Scholarship was established in 1996 in conjunction with the Shared Heritage exhibition at the Indianapolis Museum of Art in recognition of four African-American artists: John W. Hardwick, William Majors, William E. Scott, and Hale Woodruff. Incoming freshmen or transfer students applying to be full-time students to Herron School of Art are eligible for this scholarship. This scholarship is renewable for students who maintain good academic standing in Herron courses (2.50 GPA). A portfolio application is required. East Scholarship was established to promote and encourage former members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis (BGCI) to study in a degreed curriculum in the IU School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI. The School of Physical Education & Tourism Management is pleased to offer this scholarship to an incoming freshman female student who is majoring in any major in the Physical Education degree program (Exercise Science, Exercise Science Pre-PT, Pre-OT, Pre-Med, Sports management, Fitness Studies and Teacher Education) . This scholarship will be applied to the tuition and books of the recipient (any remaining balance will be carried forward into the next academic year). Eligible students must qualify for financial aid (as defined by the FAFSA), have minimum H.S. GPA of 2.5, and satisfactory SAT/ACT scores.
