Sacred Spain: Art and Belief in the Spanish World

The exhibit features 70 works from Spain, Mexico and Peru, including
paintings, polychrome sculpture, metalwork and books, many of which
have never been seen in the United States. The works, drawn from
museums, churches, convents, private collections and libraries,
include masterpieces by El Greco, Velasquez, Zurbaran, Murillo and
other artists from 17th century Spain and Spanish America.
Lunch is available at the IMA’s Nourish Café, which
features delicious soups, salads, pasta, sandwiches, and vegetarian
dishes with locally grown produce.
