Speaker: Dr. Thomas DeCoster
Professor Emeritus, School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Indiana University
Do you sometimes think your children (and particularly your grandchildren) are speaking a language different from yours?
We currently have four generations (veterans, boomers, gen-Xers, millenials) active in our society. Each has different values leading sometimes to sharp conflicts, significant not only in the workplace, but in academia, churches, real estate, physician-patient relationships, etc. and, for us, in understanding the behavior and practices of our grandchilden.
Come, with friends and family, on January 19 to hear Dr. Thomas DeCoster talk about what leaders and administrators are doing to accommodate the contrasting and some would say conflicting values of this multi-generational society.
You may leave with a better understanding of what your grandchildren are talking about and why.
