Award
Documents The award document normally specifies the project to be funded, the amount awarded, project duration, method of payment, reporting requirements, and any special restrictions. Most award documents are sent directly to Research and Sponsored Programs, with a copy to the project director. If the award document is sent directly to the project director, the original should be forwarded immediately to Research and Sponsored Programs for processing. A copy should be retained by the project director. Awarding agencies occasionally require that receipt of an award be acknowledged or that special conditions be accepted in writing. Acceptance may only be made by an authorized official of the University, not the project director. (See Important Notice 02-7 at http://www.fms.indiana.edu/cg/imp_notice/02-7.asp.) Contact Research and Sponsored Programs for assistance at (317) 274-8285 or rspinfo@iupui.edu. |
