Site Visits
Although a site visit does not guarantee or even imply that an award will be forthcoming, it does indicate substantial interest on the part of the funding agency. The funding agency will dictate the type, complexity, and duration of the site visit and usually will provide an agenda, a list of items requiring additional information, and the names and affiliations of the site visitors. Most site visits vary from one to three days in length. Costs of travel and lodging for the site visitors will be paid by the funding agency. Research and Sponsored Programs should be notified immediately and called upon for assistance as soon as the project director has been alerted that a site visit will occur. Contact R&SP - 317 274-8285.
