Contracts & Grants

New Functionality Added to Project Director Reports
The new Project Director Reports are located at https://fdrs.fms.indiana.edu/cgi-bin/pdw/Welcome.pl
Some history:
In November 1999, FMS introduced a Web site developed specifically for project directors and departmental research administrators. The "Project Director Reports" site offers three basic reports that can be summarized in various ways, including or excluding cost share as you command. All of the reports are customized to the particular project director that you select upon entering the site. The reports are:

" ACCOUNT LIST
" AWARDS FROM A SPECIFIC AGENCY
" EXPENSE SUMMARY BY BUDGET CONSOLIDATION

Now, through the "Expense Summary by Budget Consolidation" you can drill down into expense detail by clicking on the black arrows found on the report. Expense detail is available back to 1994. Some examples of what you might see in the drill down include:

" Travel voucher number and the name of the IU traveler
" Reference numbers for purchase order invoice payments
" FIS document numbers for transfers, general error corrections, etc.

We hope that you will find this new information useful. As always, we welcome your comments. If you find something that we need to work on or if you have suggestions for additional reports, please let us know by sending an e-mail message to Contract and Grant Administration at cgadmin@indiana.edu.

FMS Releases Year End Closing Newsletter
Included in the June 2002 issue are deadlines, report schedules, and news related to specific components, i.e., Auxiliary Accounts and Capital Assets Management. For more information, see http://www.fms.indiana.edu/newsletter/home.html.
