Winter Weather Preparedness Week
Governor Mitch Daniels has proclaimed the week of November 16-22 as Winter Weather Preparedness Week ([PDF]) in Indiana.

Canceled classes due to adverse weather or emergencies
Check the Keep Informed page on how to keep updated on current cancellations on campus. The IUPUI home page and this page will have official information about campuswide closings.
Course specific cancellations
Information about cancellations for a specific course may be found in a number of places:
- Phone: Some instructors may contact students by phone. Be sure to keep your phone number current.
- E-Mail: Keep your IUPUI E-mail current.
- Web: Oncourse or other course pages.
- Web: Sometimes announcements are listed on the website of the department teaching the course.
Off-campus courses
All IUPUI courses taught off-campus in area schools follow the decision of the individual school system. This means that if a school system has closed for the day, any IUPUI courses taught in that system's schools are also cancelled even if IUPUI is still open for on-campus classes.
