Available courses include first aid, CPR, automated external defibrillator (AED), universal precautions, water safety and babysitting. The program will be a 12-week training session. Applications are available at the Campus Police Headquarters, 1232 W. Michigan Street., on the IUPUI campus. The purpose of the Citizen Police Academy is to increase understanding of the duties and responsibilities of University Police Officers, which can foster cooperative problem solving between police and the University Community.
