Utility Failure
In case of utility failure immediately call the Campus Facilities Services at (317) 278-1900. Be prepared to give:
- Building name
- Floor
- Room number
- Nature of problem
- Person to contact and extension
Electrical/Light Failure
If you cannot see exit corridors, locate exit stairs or doors and evacuate the building while emergency lights are on. Do not enter the building until power is restored. Emergency lighting is temporary and will not support building operations.
Plumbing/Floor/Water Leak
If you discover leaking water or know the source of a water leak, contact Campus Facilities Services. Do not walk through standing water due to the potential for electrocution hazards.
Natural Gas Leak
If you discover a natural gas leak, leave the area immediately and contact IUPUI Police at 911 from campus phones, or (317) 274-7911 from off-campus phones.
