Test of the JagAlert System

On Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at 1:15 PM, IUPUI conducted a test of the JagAlert emergency notification system.

This test, which will be done once a semester, included a variety of notification methods, such as e-mails, phone call, SMS text messages, website banners, and radio broadcasts.

If you did not receive this message, please register your phone numbers by clicking on the “Notifications” tab at www.onestart.iu.edu.

If you are visiting this site because you received the JagAlert/IU-Notify test, thank you for your interest in preparedness, and we invite you to complete a very short survey on SurveyMonkey: LINK to survey.

If you did not receive the test messages, or would like to change your contact information, please visit the "Keep Informed" page of this site and follow the directions. We appreciate your efforts to help us verify contact information and help ensure that our system works.

IUPUI has created this web site as part of the campus's ongoing emergency preparedness efforts. In the event of a disaster or emergency, this site will contain regularly updated news, instructions, and information.

At left is a menu where you can update your contact information (under “Keep Informed”), view IUPUI’s “Emergency Procedures” and find “Emergency Contacts” and planning information for departments (“IUPUI Departments’ Roles”).
