Research interests: Ethics, Bioethics (including research ethics, clinical ethics, and health policy).

Graduate education: M.A., Georgetown University/Kennedy Institute of Ethics, 1985; Ph.D., Georgetown University/Kennedy Institute of Ethics, 1989.

Lectures and presentations: More than 250 invited lectures in Europe, Canada, and the United States since 1989.

Publications: Author or co-author more than 75 articles and book chapters, most of which focus on topics in research ethics, clinical ethics, and health policy. (Some recent articles are listed below.)
