Reservation policies
Reservations for Camp Brosius for the summer of 2008 will be accepted beginning at 9 a.m. on Jan. 21, 2008, by telephone at (317) 274-0606, by fax at (317) 278-2041, by mail (download the camp brochure and complete/mail the reservation form on the home page), or online at www.campbrosius.com.
Reservation priority for all former campers will be offered until Feb. 11, 2008. As in past years, the first condition for priority is based on your reservation for last year, and the second is based on the number of years you have participated in the camping program. You must include a deposit of $100 per person with your reservation. The balance is due in full at least one month prior to your arrival date.
Families reserving the three- and four-bedroom cottages at Camp Brosius will be charged for the minimum occupancy of five people in the three-bedroom cottages and seven people in the four-bedroom cottages.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your reservations, the following policy applies: Before April 14, 2008: you will receive a full refund, less a $50 service charge. April 14, 2008 and after: if we are able to fill the vacancy, you will receive a full refund, less a $50 service charge. If we are unable to fill the vacancy, you will be charged 75% of your reservation. No adjustments will be made for late arrival or early departure.
Early arrival
For the safety of all counselors and guests, it is important for camp staff to know who is on the Camp Brosius property at all times. If you plan to arrive before your reservation date begins, please inform staff of your plans in advance.
Gratuities
Just like a cruise ship or resort, your college staff depends, in part, on gratuities for their wages. If you find the services of the staff to be as tremendous as we think you will, you are welcome to share a tip with them at the end of your stay (gratuity box available during check-out). This tip is divided equally among college staff at the end of the eight-week camp. As a matter of policy, staff members are not permitted to accept individual gratuities.
