Function of OSAC

OSAC Guidelines for Overseas Study Program Proposals

These proposal guidelines are applicable to all IU campuses that are pursuing overseas study programs. However, IUPUI faculty should initially submit their proposals to the International Study Coordinator who will review them with the Associate Dean of International Affairs. We will work with our faculty to develop a completed proposal, which then will be submitted by us to the Overseas Study Advisory Committee (OSAC) for approval.

The procedures for approval are indicated in the Guidelines. Briefly, proposals can be submitted at any time, and after IUPUI approval, are reviewed by a sub-committee of OSAC before final OSAC approval.

Guidelines for Directors Reports A copy of the report should also be sent to the Study Abroad office at IUPUI.
