Homestay with an American Family
We encourage you to consider living in an American homestay as your initial living experience after arriving in Indianapolis. Especially if this is your first time living by yourself in the USA, an American host can help you become acquainted with the city and our customs. They will also provide a stable “home base” during your first months as an international student at IUPUI.
International Homestay Consultants has been working with international students and American hosts since 1986. Based on interviews with past students, we believe the adjustment period is much easier when students know what to expect before they arrive.
