Forensic Chemistry Faculty Position Announcement Forensic Chemistry Faculty Position The Forensic and Investigative Sciences (FIS) Program at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) invites applications for a tenure track faculty position beginning in August 2012 in forensic chemistry or related areas. Rank and salary are open. The tenure home for this position is the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry or Forensic Science or a related discipline and work experience in a forensic science laboratory is desired. Applicants must have a background appropriate for successful teaching in interdisciplinary B.S. and M.S. degree programs in Forensic and Investigative Sciences within the School of Science, including forensic chemistry and general forensic science courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Applicants should also demonstrate the ability to initiate and sustain an externally funded research program and mentor graduate students. Applicants at a senior level must have a record of research excellence, a history of external funding, and a strong record of mentoring students. The Forensic and Investigative Sciences Program has FEPAC accredited B.S. degree and an M.S. degree, both with concentrations in forensic chemistry and biology.
