INDIANA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF NURSING Department of Family Health Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Clinical/Tenure Track Faculty Position Indiana University School of Nursing (IUSON) seeks qualified candidates for a clinical track/tenure track faculty position in the Department of Family Health Nursing. The person in this 12 month position is responsible for coordinating the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner major, teaching clinical and didactic courses in the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) major and other courses as appropriate. Scholarship and service are expectations for appointment to the clinical track. Research and service are expectations for tenure track appointments. Qualified applicants appointed to the clinical track must hold a master's degree in nursing with a doctorate in nursing or a doctorate in a related field preferred. A doctorate is required for appointment at clinical associate professor rank or above. Applicants appointed to the tenure track must hold an earned doctorate in nursing or a doctorate in a related field with a master's degree in nursing. In addition, the applicant must hold national certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and have experience teaching in an ACNP program. Appointment to academic rank and salary are dependent on demonstrated scholarly achievement and teaching experience.
