The Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases in collaboration with the Department of Microbiology and Immunology is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position at the assistant or associate professor level. The ID Division desires to expand its global health portfolio through the recruitment of clinician scientists focusing on pathogens of global health import such as Mycobacterium Tuberculosis, HIV, or Malaria. The candidate would interact with the virology or intracellular pathogen group within the Department of Microbiology and Immunology and the Global Health Group within the ID Division. Individuals applying for this position must have an MD or MD PhD, training and experience in basic science research related to a pathogen of global health import, and the potential and desire to become an independent basic science/translational investigator.
