Clinical Psychiatrist Consultation-Liaison Position for University Hospital/Indiana University Health Assistant or Associate Professor, Indiana University School of Medicine The Department of Psychiatry at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Clinical Track Assistant or Associate Professor in the Section of Adult Psychiatry. The candidate should possess an M.D. and have interest and expertise in hospital-based consultation-liaison (C/L) psychiatry assessment and intervention with adults who have chronic physical/medical conditions. Experience and/or training in adult psychiatry C/L and multidisciplinary collaboration in a hospital setting are required. Responsibilities will consist of evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of adults hospitalized in a large, tertiary care hospital (Indiana University Hospital) affiliated with Indiana University School of Medicine. Other responsibilities will include collaboration with medical treatment teams, participation on department committees, and supervision/teaching of psychiatry residents and fellows, psychology interns and medical students. Involvement in clinical research is available. Indiana University School of Medicine is the second largest medical school in the U.S. It is located in Indianapolis, the 12th largest city in the country.
