Manager, PET Radiochemistry Core The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, Indiana University School of Medicine, is seeking applications for appointment as Manager, PET Radiochemistry Core. This is a non-tenure-track Research Faculty position. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the PET Radiochemistry Core, including: radionuclide production (^11 C, ^15 O, ^18 F); synthesis of routinely utilized PET tracers for human and animal studies; maintenance of PET radiochemistry synthesis modules and production SOPs; oversight of daily quality control and quality assurance procedures; assurance that SOPs meet the requirements of applicable State and Federal regulations; implementation of new PET radiotracers in collaboration with Indiana Institute for Biomedical Imaging Sciences (IIBIS) leadership and investigator teams; and management of the staff within the facility. Must interact effectively with scientists and clinicians inside and outside the Department to facilitate planning and implementation of studies that rely on Core services.May be required to provide educational lectures associated with the meeting the missions Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences and IIBIS. The successful candidate is expected to have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, and an established track record in PET radiopharmaceutical synthesis for human use.
