The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking individuals with sub-specialty expertise in Orthopaedic Trauma. These individuals will participate in patient care, resident and medical student teaching, and research. Individuals must be board eligible or board certified and have completed an OTA approved trauma fellowship or equivalent training, or have demonstrated experience in orthopaedic trauma. This position will be based at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in downtown Indianapolis. IU Health Methodist Hospital is the largest hospital in the state of Indiana and is a high volume Level 1 Trauma Center, one of only two in the state. The appointment will be at an academic level appropriate to experience and accomplishment. Salary will be based on academic rank and productivity. Both tenure track and clinical track positions are possible. Experience will be considered a plus, but novice orthopaedic traumatologists are also encouraged to apply.
