The Indiana Violence Prevention Partnership, a program of the Section of Developmental Pediatrics within the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics, seeks a full-time epidemiologist with leadership skills to manage a small research partnership focused on violent injury prevention. Duties include pursuing grant funding, managing multiple IRB-approved research projects, maintaining partnership's website, supervising a small research staff, and representing the partnership to public health and service agencies on violence and injury prevention. The successful candidate will have a minimum five years of experience managing public health surveillance systems, analyzing public health data, developing related reports, and demonstrated leadership ability. Knowledge of SAS required; MS Access and MS Excel a plus. A Master's degree is required, as is the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. A collaborative spirit and the ability to form good working relationships with multiple data partners is a must.
