The Section of General Pediatrics/Hospitalist Program at Riley Hospital for Children at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis is seeking additional faculty in the section. The individual must be Board Eligible in Pediatrics. The rank will be commensurate with experience and interests. The Section provides inpatient care for infants, children and adolescents with a variety of diseases. This position involves in-house night and weekend coverage of the hospital. Riley Hospital is ranked 11th as a Children's Hospital (Child Magazine) and has highly academic residency programs in Pediatrics, Medicine-Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine-Pediatrics and Psychiatry-Pediatrics (total 150 residents). The Department of Pediatrics has extensive NIH funding (#7 for pediatric departments in 2009) for basic, translational and clinical research, and there is ample opportunity for collaborative studies in the School of Medicine.
