Directors of Clinical Phase I program for the IUSCC and for the Clinical Translational Science Institute for Indiana University School of Medicine. The Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center (IUSCC) is seeking candidates for the position of Medical and Research Directors of Clinical Phase I program for the IUSCC and for the Clinical Translational Science Institute (CTSI) for Indiana University School of Medicine. This position will be classified as Associate or Full Professor in the Division of Hematology-Oncology. The ideal applicant will hold a MD degree, Board-certified in Medical Oncology and /or Hematology and possess a depth of experience in the conduit, management and solicitation of cancer-related Phase I clinical trials including extra-mural research. Additionally, they should also possess outstanding communication, writing, collaborative and leadership skills. Responsibilities include: leading the growth and development of a clinical research Phase I research program for the IUSCC and the CTSI; creating and maintaining collaborations with a strong Division of Clinical Pharmacology, pediatric oncology program, supervision physicians, nurses and support staff: interacting with clinical trial development.
