Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine or above (Non-Tenure Track Position) Position Description: Clinical physician. Participate in the Gastroenterology/Hepatology care of both in-patients and out-patients. Attend at least one out-patient clinic per week. Play major role in the care of patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases. Provide endoscopic services to include difficult to-do procedures. Assist in the education of medical students and house-officers. Teach learners cognitive skills and sigmoidoscopy to screen for colon polyps and cancers. Teach fellows cognitive knowledge and procedural skills so that they can become board certified. This faculty position also requires the candidate to hold an appointment with University Medical Diagnostics Associates, an affiliated professional organization. Position Requirements: Required qualifications include an M.D. or equivalent degree along with ACGME accredited residency training in Internal Medicine. ACGME accredited residency training in Gastroenterology/Hepatology and Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology are preferred. Unrestricted right to work in the U.S. is required.
