Position Announcement - Senior Faculty The Department of Psychiatry at Indiana University School of Medicine (Indianapolis, IN) has a new opening for a senior-level Associate Professor or above of Geriatric Psychiatry focused on clinical service, teaching, and research in dementia and Alzheimer disease. The candidate will direct the ACGME-accredited, PG-V fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry. The fellowship has a multi-disciplinary core faculty of geriatric psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, psychologists, and an epidemiologist. The candidate should be in a position to develop clinical drug trials in mood, behavior, and/or memory disorders of the aged. In addition, the candidate should be able to contribute to ongoing, federally-funded programs in aging, mild cognitive impairment, dementia, and Alzheimer disease. The Department of Psychiatry maintains a clinical psychology internship and clinical neuropsychology and psychiatry residency programs. The Department places a high priority on supporting the professional development of ethnic minorities, women, and people with disabilities. The position offers salary commensurate with experience.
