Research Associate Biochemistry and Molecular Biology A Research Associate position is available in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Indiana University School of Medicine in the lab of Dr. Hua Lu. This position is for a nearly independent scientist who has a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree with over four years of lab research experience in Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Cell Biology. Required research experience includes animal models, specifically in the fields of signal transduction and/or regulation of p53and its homologs. The successful candidate will be able to direct research projects using animal and cellular model systems under the supervision of the PI in the lab. The individual will also be required to teach or mentor junior lab staff such as high school, college and graduate students and junior postdoctoral fellows as well as providing general management in the lab.
