Associate/Full Professor The Department of Medicine Division of Hematology/Oncology Indiana University School of Medicine The Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology, Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) invites applications for a full time academic position at the Associate/Full Professor level to direct and lead the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program. IUSM offers a strong program in hematopoiesis, solid tumor and hematologic malignancies led by an NCI designated Cancer Center . The ideal candidate will have training in transplantation and hematologic malignancy; demonstrate a strong commitment to a leadership role in academic medicine, a track record of clinical/translational research and administrative expertise in Bone Marrow Transplant and Hematologic Malignancy. Experience with meeting regulatory requirements for accredited programs and ability to work with managed care networks are important factors. The incumbent is expected to contribute to the academic programs at the Indiana University School of Medicine and the Cancer Center. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and be board certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. Indiana University School of Medicine and its health partner, Clarian have designated cancer services as one of their top priorities, and are committed to expanding the growth of Indiana University Cancer Centers. Construction has started on the Cancer Hospital, which is scheduled to open in the early part of 2008.
