DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INDIANA UNIVERSITY-PURDUE UNIVERSITY INDIANAPOLIS FACULTY POSITIONS IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), has both Mechanical Engineering and Energy Engineering Programs. The Department invites applications for a tenure-track position. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate the potential to establish and sustain an externally sponsored research program in the energy engineering related areas, preferably in battery, fuel cell, and other energy conversion and storage technologies. He/she is also expected to teach graduate and undergraduate level energy related courses, as well as supervise graduate students (M.S. and Ph.D.). Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in an energy related engineering field and show promise for excellence in both research and teaching. Exceptional candidates with established research and teaching credentials may be considered for a senior faculty position.
